Crafting Tales of Eerie Enchantment

Everything you look at can become a fairy tale and you can get a story from everything you touch.

About Me

Among the gnarled trees on the outskirts of a growing Midwest village resides a peculiar scribe. With quill pen in hand and black cat at her side, Makayla Love weaves tales that tread the line between dream and darkness.

Makayla Love lives in a probably (definitely) haunted cottage among ancient oaks with her long-suffering husband, two cats Salem and Wednesday, and beagledor Daisy. Makayla met her husband, Daniel, when the two were in high school and have been together ever since. For the last several years Makayla Love has been working tirelessly on her education.

In 2023, through correspondence courses by raven-posts, Makayla received her bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently working on her master’s in creative writing with a concentration on fiction, also from Southern New Hampshire University.

When not serving as a medium between the real and the fictional, Makayla enjoys crocheting (badly), drinking tea, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends. Blogging is another passion of this purveyor of tales, wherein one can find an endless list of literary treasures both ancient and new.

The way to read a fairy tale is to throw yourself in.
